Logan Memorial Hospital acquired by Med Center Health

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky.- Med Center Health announced Wednesday that Logan Memorial Hospital will become Med Center Health’s seventh hospital.

Logan Memorial Hospital is located in Russellville, serving a population of approximately 45,000.

The addition also includes three medical office buildings on the main campus, as well as rural health clinics located in Russellville, Auburn and Elkton.

The vice president of Med Center Health, David Gray, tells News 40 this will offer more health resources to more people in rural areas.

He says, “What we’ve done in all the communities that we’ve been a part of, whether, again, Franklin, or Scottsville, or Albany, or Carvana up in the Horse Cave area or here in Bowling Green, it’s all about expanding services, making investments in those communities so that people can get health care, locally whenever possible.”

Meetings will begin tomorrow morning at Logan Memorial Hospital, and on July 1, this hospital will be known as the Medical Center at Russellville.
