Local plastic surgeon’s office helping healthcare workers
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – From possibly being exposed to COVID-19 to exhaustion, healthcare workers and first responders have a lot of hazards to dodge.
Now add cuts to the face from wearing masks that need to fit tight enough so workers don’t breathe in unfiltered air.
One local plastic surgeon’s office wants to help make the job a little more comfortable.
Salameh Plastic Surgery and Skin Care is donating bottles of scar and bruise advanced formula cream to healthcare workers and first responders to help soothe those mask injuries.
And Dr. Salemeh himself says it’s an “awesome” feeling helping out those working the front lines in the coronavirus pandemic and the feeling of giving lasts a long time.
The cream is available until the supplies run out and Dr. Salameh says bottles can be picked up locally or they’ll ship them to out-of-town healthcare professionals and first responders and they can be requested through Dr. Salameh’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SalamehPlasticSurgery
