Local gun shop reacts to ammo shortage

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – COVID-19 is becoming known for all the shortages it has caused throughout the country.

Now, an ammunition shortage is causing problems for a local gun shop.

Because of factory shutdowns, employees off work, and other supply chain issues, the ammo supply is down.

Many websites are out of stock of many kinds of ammo, making 9-millimeter ammo especially hard to find.

People have noticed the shortage and have begun trying to stockpile, which is only adding to the shortage problems.

And with so much civil unrest, the demand for guns and bullets has skyrocketed according to Sherwood Davis, the owner of Sherwood’s Guns.

Some guns are running low on stock as well at local gun stores, but they are still available.
