Local Democrats hold political rally
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With election day nearing, and in-person early voting coming even sooner, Democrats held a political rally at the Garvin House in Bowling Green Thursday night.
Candidates for varying levels of political office gave out campaign signs and shared speeches. The final speaker on the schedule was U.S. Senate hopeful Amy McGrath.
The event was socially distanced.
About 200 were at the event at 6:15 p.m. with more arriving.
The local Republican party has planned a rally later this month. WNKY will cover that rally as well.
