Lisa’s 5th Street Diner and others to give Thanksgiving meals

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For those looking for a home-cooked Thanksgiving meal, look no further. A couple of Good Samaritan restaurants will have free Turkey-day meals for everyone.

One of those restaurants is Lisa’s Fifth Street Diner. 

Owner Lisa Parker started giving meals for Thanksgiving four years ago, and this year the tradition continues.

Their ovens started roaring at 3:00a.m. Wednesday morning in preparation for the holiday. 

Parker said, “I just don’t like to see people hungry and alone. You don’t have to be homeless to come. Everyone is welcome.”

Lisa’s isn’t the only diner serving their community. Here is a list of some of the places in town that you can get a nice, hot Thanksgiving meal.
