Laurel Co. Sheriff’s Office investigating fatal four-wheeler crash involving teens
LONDON, Ky. – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal four-wheeler crash involving teens.
On Tuesday, deputies responded to a call of a fatal single-vehicle crash on Nineva Road approximately six miles east of London.
According to the preliminary investigation, a four-wheeler traveling on Nineva Road ran off the roadway and lost control of the vehicle.
The four-wheeler was occupied by two juveniles, both 13 years of age.
The Laurel County Coroner’s Office pronounced one of the juveniles deceased at the scene. The other juvenile was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, London Laurel Rescue Squad, McWhorter Volunteer Fire Department, and the Laurel County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
