Latest COVID-19 numbers for South Central Kentucky and statewide
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Thursday evening, Governor Andy Beshear announced 199 new confirmed positive coronavirus cases…bringing the statewide total to 7,225.
Beshear also reporting two new deaths on Thursday… As the total number of Kentuckians who have died from COVID-19 rises to 328.
On the positive side of things, the governor announced total of 121,246 tests have been administered across the state and 2,712 Kentuckians have recovered from the coronavirus.
As far as our local numbers go… Warren County once again reporting a double-digit increase in confirmed positive cases, increasing by nearly 50 and bringing their total to 677.
Several other counties in the viewing area seeing confirmed case increases over the last 24 hours. Butler, Logan, and Edmonson all only reporting one additional positive case each, and Allen county reporting an additional two cases.
Across the area, 375 Kentuckians have recovered from the virus.
