KYCTC urges residents to not place storm debris on state right-of-way

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Weekend storms have left trees and tree debris in roadways across South Central Kentucky.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 is asking all residents to avoid placing debris on state right-of-way.

The removal of debris on private property is the responsibility of the property owner. Officials ask that debris that has been placed by private property owners on state right-of-way be removed immediately.

Clear right-of-way allows state highway crews to continue cleanup efforts.
