Kentucky State Police search for man after another person is shot

UPDATE: 7:43 Kentucky State Police identified the victim as Brett Brady (28), of Rocky Hill and said he received a gunshot wound to his arm.

Officials believe Brett Brady had been in an altercation with his brother, Cody Brady, of Leitchfield.

During the altercation, Cody shot Brett.

Cody left the scene prior to the arrival of Law Enforcement and Brett was transported to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.


UPDATE: 3:22 P.M. The vehicle has been found, but Brady has not.

The victim has been identified as a male.


ROCKY HILL, Ky. – Wednesday morning, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office was called to a shooting on Rocky Hill Road in Rocky Hill.

The sheriff’s office handed the investigation over to Kentucky State Police.

KSP is on scene and said the victim is at the hospital in stable condition.

Police are searching for Cody D. Brady (26), born 04/01/1995.

He is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and 150 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

Brady is driving a 2000 Silver Toyota 4-Runner with damage to the center of the grill and front bumper.

If you see Brady or his vehicle, contact police immediately. He is considered armed and dangerous.
