Isaias Cuts Path Of Destruction

The deadly storm has left hundreds of thousands without power along the East Coast. NBC's Jay Gray reports.

(NBC News) — Isaias left a path of destruction across several states Tuesday.

The storm made landfall as Category One hurricane late Monday along the North Carolina coast, where two people are dead and at least a dozen more injured.

High winds and heavy rain continued as the storm rapidly pushed north, with storm surge and flood waters swallowing roadways and vehicles.

Hundreds of thousands, from the Carolinas to New York, were left without power.
