PORTO, Portugal (AP) — Chelsea and Manchester City will contest an all-English Champions League final in Porto. It’s a competition the clubs tried to wreck last month with an ill-fated attempt to launch a largely closed breakaway. The 66th European Cup final on Saturday provides glimmers of optimism in troubled times despite the rancor in the fallout from the collapse of the Super League. City and Chelsea will be watched by fans for the first time in this season’s competition as pandemic restrictions are eased. It will be City’s first European Cup final. Chelsea is trying to win for a second time.
