PARIS (AP) — Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev will play each other in the French Open semifinals. The No. 5-seeded Tsitsipas got to that stage for the fourth time at a Grand Slam tournament and second year in a row in Paris by beating No. 2 Daniil Medvedev in straight sets. The No. 6-seeded Zverev got through a tight opening set and then cruised to a 6-4, 6-1, 6-1 victory over unseeded Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. Zverev was the runner-up at the 2020 U.S. Open. Tsitsipas will be trying to reach his first major final. Anastasia Pavlychenkova and Tamara Zidansek set up a meeting in the women’s semifinals.
