Spieth solo lead at Colonial; PGA champ Mickelson misses cut

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Jordan Spieth has the lead close to home at Colonial while PGA champion Phil Mickelson is going home. Spieth had another bogey-free round Friday at Colonial at 4-under 66 to take lead alone at 11-under 129. The Dallas native is one shot ahead of Jason Kokrak, who had his second consecutive round of 65. Mickelson missed the cut by one stroke at 2 over after bogeys on two of his last three holes. The 50-year-old Mickelson last week became the oldest winner of a golf major at the PGA Championship. His 69 Friday followed an opening 73.
