INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Will Power saved Roger Penske from embarrassment at Indianapolis Motor Speedway by locking his car into the Indianapolis 500 field. Power had found himself in Sunday’s five-car shootout for the final three spots in the May 30 race. The best qualifier of his generation used a gutsy effort in which he even scraped the wall. Power made the race alongside Sage Karam and Simona de Silvestro. Bumped from the field of 33 were Charlie Kimball and rookie R.C. Enerson.
