ATLANTA (AP) — New York Mets outfielder Kevin Pillar says he’s almost as concerned about the pitcher who hit him in the face as he is himself. Pillar suffered multiple nasal fractures from being hit by a fastball from Atlanta’s Jacob Webb. Pillar met with a facial specialist in Atlanta and was placed on the 10-day injured list. He’ll likely be out an extended period. But Pillar made everyone feel a lot better when he brought out the lineup card before Tuesday night’s game. He also has no hard feelings toward Webb, saying he knows the pitch was not intentional.
