CHICAGO (AP) — Candace Parker says she is excited to join her hometown team after signing with the Chicago Sky. The two-time WNBA MVP left Los Angeles after spending her first 13 seasons with the Sparks. Parker joins a team with back-to-back playoff appearances. Parker won MVP awards in 2008 and 2013 and Defensive Player of the Year honors last season. She is a five-time All-Star and the Sparks’ all-time leader in scoring, blocks and rebounds.
