TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tanoh Kpassagnon grew up in a home where excellent grades and academic achievements were not only encouraged they were expected. That’s what happens when your mother is a chemist and father an economist and both have doctoral degrees. The Kansas City Chiefs defensive end was a double-major in accounting and finances at Villanova and gradually paved a way to an NFL career while constantly improving on the football field. He’s now a starter for the AFC champions in the Super Bowl. He jokes that he has a Ph.D. in football and is thankful for his unconventional football journey.
