Hundreds of Grayson County residents lose internet service due to copper thefts
GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. – Multiple copper thefts left many without internet service in Grayson County
According to K105, the copper thefts have occurred in the Caneyville and Clarkson areas.
Kinetic (formerly Windstream) is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) in the investigation.
“In total, we lost numerous locations including 2 cell towers across the last 2-3 weeks resulting in over 500 impacted customers, with thefts occurring as recently as two nights ago (Monday),” Victoria R. Carman, Kinetic Communication Director told K105.
Carman says the company is working with law enforcement to prevent future thefts.
