Hart County man arrested on drug trafficking charges

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky.- A Munfordville man is facing multiple drug charges after narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at his residence.

Investigators with the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, Munfordville Police Department and Kentucky State Police, searched the home on Wednesday in the 200 block of Skyline Drive.

According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, detectives located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and prescription medication inside the residence. Investigators said they also found evidence suggesting drug trafficking was taking place.

Mark Bruton, 43, was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bruton was lodged in the Hart County Jail.
