Greenwood’s Zoellner Signs with FGCU Swim/Dive

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – At Greenwood High School, Sarah Zoellner signed her letter of intent to become a Division One athlete.

The Gators swimmer is heading to Florida to join FGCU’s Swimming and Diving team.

Zoellner always had faith she would swim at the collegiate level, but she is astonished by her path to Fort Myers.

“It means the world to me,” Zoellner said. “I mean, as a kid, I always knew in the back of my mind I would swim collegiately, but I never thought it would be at the division one level. I think something local, something I could just do to have fun in college. But not until the past couple of years I really realized that there was something more out there.”
