Greenwood Lady Gators Crowned 4th Region Softball Champions

Bowling Green, KY. – For the second straight year, the Greenwood Lady Gators and South Warren Spartans met in the 4th Region Championship game at the WKU Softball Complex.

The Lady Gators outlasted the Spartans, crowning them Region Champs in an absolute thriller, 2-1.

This is the Lady Gators first Region Title since 2014.

After the win, head coach Rodney Bush stated, “We played a lot of tough teams, a lot of top 10 teams this year. And you know, some games mentally we weren’t ready and we grew from that every time. We got better, set a goal the beginning of the year, which was to win the region championship.”
