Green River Catfish Festival seeking volunteers for Special Friends Day
MORGANTOWN, Ky. – The Green River Catfish Festival is this summer, and they need your help for a day that offers inclusivity.
The 42nd Annual Green River Catfish Festival returns to Morgantown, Kentucky on Saturday, June 22. The kick-off will include a road race and beauty pageants. The festival continues with a fishing tournament from June 28-30 and a carnival and main events from July 4-6.
Special Friends Day is a free event for members of our community with disabilities.
To make this day happen, the festival is asking for volunteers and monetary donations.
The event is set for July 5 from 10 a.m. to noon on Old River Road in Morgantown
