Grand jury indicts Bowling Green man on incest, child sex charges

A Warren County grand jury indicted a Bowling Green man Wednesday on six sex crime charges involving a minor.

Arnold Lee Perry, 36, is charged with incest, first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old.

The child told an out-of-state law enforcement officer the allegations against Perry and that agency relayed the information to Bowling Green police, according to Warren Circuit Court records.

After the child reported the allegations, the out-of-state agency had the child make a recorded telephone call to Arnold during which he made self-incriminating statements regarding the child’s allegations against him, according to court records.

The out-of-state detective who took the complaint forwarded the information on to Bowling Green police who initially charged Perry with two criminal offenses June 20. He has been incarcerated at the Warren County Regional Jail since that day.

His bond is $25,000.
