Governor Beshear announces over $10.7 million for Edmonson County

EDMONSON CO., Ky.-Governor Andy Beshear paid a visit to Edmonson County High School earlier this afternoon. 

Beshear was there to present funding to renovate the local area vocational educational center, promote tourism and improve infrastructure. 

Beshear announced $10 million in funding for renovations, $36,000 to the Edmonson Convention and Tourist Commission and $736,000 to the Edmonson County Water District. 

“This is gonna help our next generation of electricians, welders, nursing, business you name it. This is an amazing place that produces amazing Kentuckians,” said Governor Beshear. 

He’s the first governor to visit Edmonson County High School.
