Glasgow woman arrested on drug charges

A 27-year-old woman from Barren County is behind bars on drug charges.

According to Glasgow Police, officers responded to North L. Rogers Boulevard in reference to a complaint of a subject that had an active warrant.

An officer made contact with Christy Embry and confirmed that she did have an active warrant. Officers say they received consent to search her purse, and they located suspected methamphetamine inside.  

Embry was charged with possession of a controlled substance, along with the warrant being served.

She was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
