Elderly Glasgow woman accused of sodomizing child

GLASGOW, Ky. – Glasgow police charged a 69-year-old woman with 10 counts of sodomy after they said she admitted to committing the sex acts with a child under 12 years old.

Shirley Dean Vickery, of Glasgow, was charged Friday with sodomizing the child multiple times while the child was in her home, according to her arrest citation.

Vickery told police she asked the child, “don’t that feel good,” while committing the sex acts, according to her citation.

Vickery estimated this happened 10 times, according to her citation.

She was lodged in the Barren County Regional Jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled Monday in Barren District Court.
