Glasgow police investigate injury accident with entrapment
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department responded to a two-vehicle injury accident with entrapment on Tuesday.
According to officers, a 2005 Volkswagen operated by a juvenile female was traveling westbound on Glenview Drive and collided head on with a 2006 Pontiac operated by Wanda Staples.
Both operators were wearing seat belts, police say.
Barren/Metcalfe EMS treated and transported both operators to T.J. Samson Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision.
The female juvenile was transported to Norton Healthcare for further treatment.
The accident was investigated by officer John Wallen, and assisted by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
