Glasgow police investigate injury accident

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Woodlawn Street and Lenna Drive about an injury accident on Sunday.

Officers say a 1998 Honda Accord, operated by William Ballard, was traveling southbound on Woodlawn Street, when the vehicle dropped off the right shoulder of the road. Ballard overcorrected and struck a utility pole.

Ballard was treated by Barren/Metcalfe EMS and transported to T.J. Samson Hospital for treatment.

The injury accident investigation was led by Sgt. Garth Bragg, with assistance from the Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
