Glasgow man charged with illegal firearm possession

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man was arrested and charged with illegal possession of firearms Saturday.

According to Major Terry Flatt, officers responded to a home on Harwood Street regarding a complaint against 26-year-old Blake Schultz, of Glasgow.

At the scene, officers located firearms inside the residence. Schultz is a convicted felon.

Schultz was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was lodged at the Barren County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
