Glasgow Fire Department battles fire, house sustains significant damage
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department battled a structure fire early Wednesday morning.
Fire Chief Lucas Tinsley says the department responded to 304 North Green Street to reports of a structure fire.
At the scene, units located smoke and flames inside the structure.
Tinsley says the home was occupied and the owner exited the structure with sustained injuries. The owner was transported for treatment.
Firefighters extinguished and contained the fire before it spread throughout the house. The home received significant damage.
Tinsley says units were at the scene for two hours.
