Glasgow animal shelter remains full
Last weekend, BRAWA participated in the nationwide Clear the Shelters event and reached a new record total of 33 adoptions, but the joy was short lived.
The shelter is now back at full capacity. For all the animals adopted, just as many came right back through their doors.
They say one way to cut down on that amount is to microchip your pet. A large majority of their intake are stray animals and if one is your pet, and they’re not micro-chipped, it can take longer to get them back in your care.
That service is just $25 at BRAWA and you can stop by without an appointment.
They are also running a special right now where all dogs over 6 months old are just $75 and cats and kittens through the end of the month are just $10.
All animals leave the shelter spayed and neutered, and up-to-date on shots.
