Former police officer provides free grocery delivery service for seniors

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – As a response to the dangers seniors are facing in public due to COVID-19 concerns, a former police officer is using his security company to serve the most vulnerable people in the area.

Stephen Stephano, the owner of Signal 88 Security in Bowling Green is providing a free shopping service for anyone over the age of 60.

The service will be offered every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. until this pandemic passes.

The company will send a driver to your home, pick up your grocery list and method of payment.

Then, they will go to the store and bring all the groceries to you at your residence with a receipt.

Stephano says this is something important to him after losing his grandmother to an illness that could have been prevented.

The service begins this Saturday.

To sign up to receive the shopping service or to volunteer to drive call 270-201-0541.
