First flag raised at the Bowling Green Warren County Regional Airport
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A flag was raised for the first time outside of the Bowling Green Warren County Regional Airport Wednesday evening.
Susan Harmon, the airport manager, was made aware that they did not have a flag and decided she wanted something done about that as soon as possible.
A color guard made up of Boy Scouts of America troops 705B and 1920G was in attendance to unfold and raise the flag.
Malcolm Cherry, the president of the American Legion, played “Call To Colors” after the flag was raised.
