Crash, cargo spill blocks I-65 northbound in Hart County

HART CO., Ky. – At 12:45pm on Tuesday, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 4 issued a traffic alert.

Officials say all northbound lanes on I-65 Northbound MM 67 in Hart County are blocked due to a crash and scattered cargo containing poles in the roadways.

No time estimate for the clearing of the scene is available, according to officials.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 4 urges motorists to be prepared for slow and stop traffic.

As of the alert, heavy rain is active in portions of the region.

A detour is available at Exit 65 north on US 31W to Bonnieville and rejoin the interstate.
