Coronavirus Cases Continue to Plateau in Kentucky
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Governor Andy Beshear announced 176 new coronavirus cases to report on Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed statewide cases to 6,288.
In addition, four more people have died in the last 24 hours, as a total of 298 Kentuckians have now passed away due to COVID-19.
There is quite a bit of good news to report, as a total of 2,266 people have recovered from the virus and a total of 86,428 tests have been administered throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Locally, 41 new cases were reported in the Barren River District Health Department region, including 15 additional coronavirus cases in Warren County and 13 cases in Logan County. Butler County saw five new cases, Barren County’s total case numbers increased by three, Allen County had an increase of two cases and Edmonson tallied one new case.
Allen County also reported one new death over the last 24 hours, to bring their total to two Covid-19 related deaths.
There are still additional testing locations available for next week in the Bowling Green/Warren County area, with registration spots still open for drive thru or walk up appointments.

Tuesday, May 12th:
- Zip Clinic – Curbside Ministries, 1222 North Lee Street from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Bluegrass Medical/Ely Drugs – Russell Sims Aquatic Park, 2303 Tomblinson Way from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Wednesday, May 13th:
- Bluegrass Medical/Ely Drugs – Russell Sims Aquatic Park, 2303 Tomblinson Way from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday, May 14th:
- Zip Clinic – Bowling Green Learning Center, 503 Old Morgantown Road from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Bluegrass Medical WILL have a testing clinic but the location site is currently undetermined
Friday, May 15th:
- Zip Clinic – Parker Bennett Elementary School, 165 Webb Avenue from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
