Coronavirus cases continue to grow in Kentucky
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Governor Andy Beshear announced 177 new cases over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the Commonwealth to 4,879 after removing duplicates.
In addition, Governor Beshear announced that eight more people have died, which brings the total to 248 Kentuckians that have passed away due to Covid-19.
There is good news, however, as 1,752 people have recovered from the virus in Kentucky. In addition, Beshear reported that 57,648 tests have been administered thus far.
In the WNKY viewing area, the number of positive cases saw another jump in Warren County as 17 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 352 individuals have now tested positive for Covid-19 in Warren County.
Additional cases were also reported in Butler, Hart and Logan counties.
In all of these counties combined, 118 individuals have recovered.
