Convention & Visitors Bureau helping showcase local businesses during difficult time
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is trying to do its part to assist local businesses in the south central Kentucky community during the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a news release from the agency, the bureau is taking video clips from area attractions, restaurants and other businesses. Those clips are then being uploaded on to a new online blog that the bureau has developed.
Some of the attractions highlighted so far have been the National Corvette Museum, Historic RailPark & Train Museum, Be Happy Yoga & Salt Cave, 4Yoga, Traveler’s Cellar Winery, the Warren County Public Library, Barbara Stewart Interiors, Tidball’s, the Kentucky Museum, Lost River Sessions, the Bowling Green Hot Rods and South Union Shaker Village.
The goal of the web page is for residents and potential visitors to support local businesses without leaving the comfort of the couch.
