CASA teams up with Bowling Green Fire Department to honor ‘fire chief for the day’

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Fire Department welcomed a special guest to learn about its team on Friday.

In a social media post, the department says Jaida was honored as fire chief for the day.

Jaida’s time as fire chief included signing a “very official memo” giving all firefighters a raise, taking her photo with the chief wall and riding aboard Truck Six to see all of Bowling Green.

The department thanks CASA of South Central Kentucky for making the day happen. CASA recruits and trains citizens to provide youth advocacy for children.
