Bowling Green’s BlueCotton to produce surgical masks
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Bowling Green’s BlueCotton apparel company has announced plans to manufacturer surgical masks.
According to a news release from the company, the first masks produced will be donated to first responders in Warren County.
The shift in production came in response to a request from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
As WNKY has previously reporting, the company is also producing Team Kentucky t-shirts. Thus far, BlueCotton has raised over $10,000 from the sales of the shirts. The money is being donated to the United Way of Southern Kentucky to support food pantries.
