BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green woman is facing charges related to an incident involving a pellet gun.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Wednesday to Paddle Wheel Street for a report of a woman pointing a gun through a window.

Upon arrival, police say they located bullet holes in the front living room window believed to be from a BB gun or pellet gun.

Police located and detained 44-year-old Nina Baker of Bowling Green nearby, where the uniform citation states she told police she did not leave the apartment that day.

Later, police say Baker stated she went to a Dollar General with another person that morning. That individual told police he had picked Baker up that morning at the Dollar General off of Louisville Road, the uniform citation states.

Police say they were able to obtain text messages sent from Baker’s phone stating she “shot a window twice and was hiding from police and needed a ride.”

Baker was placed into custody and transported to the Warren County Detention Center.

She faces charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree criminal mischief.
