Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society asking for $20 in 2020
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Do you have $20 to spare? The Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society is asking for your help.
They are asking for $20 in 2020 from the community to help every possible abused, neglected and injured homeless pet that comes into the shelter. The society says they will not give up hope on any pet that is saved, but the funds for extreme medical cases are depleted.
In 2020 so far, the Humane Society has taken in more than 9,200 animal cases this year with some of these animals being the worst medical cases imaginable.
All of the donations will go directly towards their medical fund so they can continue to save lives every day.
“Even if $20 doesn’t seem like a lot to you, it definitely chips away at those cases you know that need extra funding and you know we appreciate it so much because every single person here gets so attached to all the animals that come in our doors. And we don’t want to give up on anyone,” said Adoption Center operations manager Leah Lawrence.
The campaign begins Friday ends on Dec. 11. Donations can be made online here, by phone by calling (270) 783-9404, or by mailing to P.O. Box 1456 Bowling Green, KY 42102 .
