BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Strategic Neighborhood Grant Project is opening applications for the month of July.
The City of Bowling Green Neighborhood and Community Services has applications open for grant funds used to help aid events and projects, according to city officials.
Starting in 1999 and originally known as the Select Neighborhood Action Program, the Strategic Neighborhood Grant Funds have opened their application for the fall of 2026 grants. After the program got an update last year and took off, the applications have been opened once again.
The application for fall grants opened on July 1 and will be open until Aug. 1, the city says. You can apply for up to $6,000 in grants.
The grants can be used for projects such community beautification, safety improvements, community events and repairs to shared spaces, city officials say. The grant application can be filled out by individual residents, neighborhood associations, homeowner associations and nonprofits aimed to help improve the community.
