Bowling Green police warning about scam

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department wants the public to be aware of the latest scam.

Police say the scam asks to support police by donating money.

A form posted by police states “Police and communities nationwide are under attack” and “Bowling Green area community police alert,” and this is not a legitimate message from area police.

BGPD says this is a scam, and they do not ask for monetary support.
