Bowling Green man accused of murder in Owensboro
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Bowling Green man has been arrested in connection to a murder that occurred earlier this month in Owensboro.
Cortemius Peoples, 42, is charged with murder, first-degree robbery, first degree burglary and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He was arrested Friday in Bowling Green, taken to the Warren County Regional Jail and then transferred to the Daviess County Detention Center.
Police in Owensboro accuse Peoples of killing, Nick Decker, at a home in Owensboro on June 9.
Police say they are still searching for another suspect.
Peoples’ bond is set at $100,000.
