Bowling Green FC U19 boys win Kentucky State Cup

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – Four Bowling Green Football Club teams competed in the Kentucky State Cup over the weekend.

The U14 and U17 teams ended their seasons with a semifinal appearance while the U15 team finished as a runner-up to the title.

Last but certainly not least, the U19 team claimed a state championship. The Lions dominated the tournament from start to finish, scoring 24 goals across four games and only allowing only one.

The squad took down the Madison United Flyers 4-1 in the title game and will now prepare for the 2026 US Youth Soccer National Championships in July.
