Boutiques holding Black Friday deals, preparing for Small Business Saturday

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – Small businesses all over the nation have been preparing for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.

After COVID-19 threatened to put small companies out of business, the idea of shopping local grew.

According to a press release, a majority of consumers say they plan to shop small this holiday season.

In Edmonson County, a cute boutique is offering discounts for both days.

With door busters and 20% off the whole store, the company hopes to see a flow of customers.

“Everyone who owns a space here is a local person from Edmonson County. So when you’re putting your money into local business, it’s going right back to the pocket of our loca,l good people and right back into our county in Edmonson County. Since I started working here, I’ve felt so much pride for my county because of all the people that have supported us,” said Lainey Alexander, an employee at Creations by Tracy and Ashlee.

Creations by Tracy and Ashlee will open up tomorrow at 8 a.m. if you want to check out their store.
