BGPD apparel for sale to raise money for Gary Raymer Scholarship Fund
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is partnering with a company to sell BGPD apparel to help raise money for a scholarship fund.
Hero 247 is an online store that partners with different agencies to help do fundraisers for first responders.
The money raised through the hoodies, zip ups and shirts will go toward the Gary Raymer Scholarship Fund.
The fund creates scholarships for the children of Bowling Green Police Department employees and is a $1,500 scholarship for use at any college or university.
Students can receive the scholarship if they have a 2.5 GPA and have to volunteer with at least two events for the scholarship fund.
The store is available online only until Sunday.
“This company does custom printing and embroidery. The items can be personalized for free, no extra charge, the hoodies are very nicely made. They’re comfortable, very soft. The description for what each item is made of is on the website with the item,” said April Fulcher, the coordinator of the Gary Raymer Scholarship Fund.
