Barren River Area Development District receives Coronavirus award
GLASGOW, Ky. -The Barren River Area Development District will receive part of a $6 million award from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
The district will be awarded $392,000 over the next two years. The money is designated for pandemic resiliency planning, including short- and long-term economic and developmental plans.
The funds for the award come from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, And Economic Security Act, or C.A.R.E.S. Act.
