Barren County Economic Authority awarding grants to small businesses

GLASGOW, Ky.- In a time when so many business owners have been forced to shut their doors, the Barren County Economic Authority is stepping in to help.

The Authority will be providing 10 small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with mini grants in the amount of $250.

The money will be used to develop a company’s website.

Funds from the Authority’s marketing budget are being directed to support the initiative.

To qualify, the business must not currently have a website, or has a website, but not capable of doing online sales transactions.
