Outdoor burn ban issued for Barren County amid wildfires

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – After multiple wildfires within and outside of Barren County, the county’s judge-executive ordered a burn ban Monday. Barren County judge-executive Jamie Bewley Byrd has issued a no outside burning order for all of Barren County. This order is effective immediately. An executive order states the ban will lifted once hazardous conditions have lessened.
